Y2J returns?
Tron marks out over Y2J! If I have to explain that sentence to you, you probably won't be excited about this . . . but Magnificent Bastard is kinda pumped too . . .
This is probably the "must see" moment of the 2007 television season and if you miss this forever will you be shamed.
Cyber Sunday, pay-per-view, October 28th . . . be there!
Rumor has it that the only man to beat Stone Cold and The Rock on the same evening to become the first ever Undisputed Heavyweight Champion makes a return to either Cyber Sunday or the Raw on Monday following (October 29, 2007). Mysteriously, a Chris Jericho book signing has been added to Philadelphia, coincidentally the site of Monday's Raw, in the afternoon and sources in Phoenix point to this as a strong hint toward Raw but Washington DC, Cyber Sunday's location, is like, what, an hour from Philly? Phoenix also hints that this could be a dodge for the second coming of Edge. Dark days indeed if this be true. The WWE's hurting right now. From defections by Booker T (real recently) and Rob Van Dam and the ECW originals (sorta recently) to Wellness Policy violations and subsequent suspensions to tragic deaths the roster is not as star studded as it has been in previous years and the addition of a proven money draw with both in-ring talent and scathing mic skills (refer to his WWE debut punking "the great one" for a classic Jericho moment) would definitely make Raw or any WWE brand stronger. Fuck it. I'm a Jerichoholic. He will save professional wrestling. Short of Paul Heyman bringing back the REAL ECW with Sabu, Justin Credible et al this is the only thing that gets me excited about the sport. Oh, there are dreams, like Bob Holley going away or TNA really trying to write good storylines with their ever-growing talent roster or John Cena never holding the world title again but Jericho is a reality. He's coming back. Sunday. Or Monday. Be excited. Tune in. Be saved. Watch the vid!
Oh Yeah, TNA announced that at Genesis on November 11th that Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash will be facing Sting and Booker T. This is very quick after Booker T walked out on WWE so it will be interesting, not just from a wrestling standpoint but from a kayfabe perspective of no compete clauses. Brock Lesnar got around this by fleeing to Japan and Pride (and just like 2 days ago signed with UFC) but to wrestle 1 month after release? Even Test was out a half year before punishing TNA. This could be a hot pay-per-view regardless of the other matches.
