SXSW - The insanity begins
It hasn't even really started, and we already have some juice in the works for you!
It's Day One at SXSW, and the CyberMonkey's have already been working for you. Last night, Fett and Filmditz made the sacrifice of attending the Texas Film Hall of Fame Awards ceremony, and got some amazing footage. We will have it up on the website as soon as possible. Fett says it should be up tomorrow or Sunday, but with all the awesome that's going on, we might hold the editing a bit so we can get more JUICE.Speaking of Juice, what sort of juice do we have for you? Larry Hagman doing his best Emperor Palpatine impersonation. Could be the age, could be the smile, does it really matter? Major Nelson can pimp at any age. And if you watch the footage, you Will see him pimpin. Two ladies for Larry! We have a red carpet exclusive interview with Tim League, of Alamo draft House and FantasticFest fame, and Austin mayoral candidate Brewster McCracken. We love Brewster (that is not a political advertisement, but it might be an endorsement)!
Brendan Fraser didn't have time to talk to us, but he did give us a wonderful impersonation of an angry Velociraptor attacking our microphone, which is honestly more fun than an interview, right?
Lot's more, but my personal favorites at this point are Billy Bob Thornton talking about his favorite things "Austin", and Dennis Quaid, giving us the juice on the GI Joe movie. How are you gonna miss that? You can't. It's that simple. Keep you eyes on the website over the next few days, I'll have it it up as soon as it's edited.
